Breckland Skies

Mike died suddenly on Saturday 23rd July 2011. He had been unwell for some time, and had been off work for the final half of the summer term. It was not until his 52nd birthday the previous week that he was finally diagnosed with advanced and terminal pancreatic cancer. He died just days later.

Mike was a member od the Society for some years. He was an enthusiastic astronomer who inspired his pupils at Dereham's Neatherd High School as Head of Science. He was a superb teacher and a marvellous ambassador for astronomy in schools.
