Welcome to Breckland Skies!

***Virtual Talk on GOOGLE MEET***0 results
Google Meet is a web-based meeting app where you can simply click a link, enter a waiting room and be let in to the talk. Your camera is optional, but your mic should be muted while the talk is running unless you need to chip in a comment. You can type live comments which the hosts can put to the speaker as appropriate.
Times: join 19:20-19:30 for 19:30 start. Society admin for 5 min, then lecture, followed by questions. By 9pm most talks should be finished.
Small donations are welcome to cover our costs, via the website donate button or by contacting the treasurer (above).
The usual AGM in May has been deferred to September 11th.

Public Observing Nights
We hold free public observing nights on the last Friday of the month. The next one is currently scheduled for 28th Aug 2020 at 7.30pm.
*** We have put measures in place to make the observatory accessible for limited numbers of members of the society, and now public groups can be taken in by household groups for a tour. We encourage you to bring along telescopes, binoculars, cameras to use from our dark site. We will also be demonstrating live astronomy via video camera***
